PM SHRI KendriyaVidyalayaMangaldoi celebrated the 63rd Foundation Day of KendriyaVidyalayaSangathan with enthusiasm and dignity. The programme began with a traditional Assamese welcome, where the distinguished guests were felicitated with PhulamGamocha.
The Principal, Mr Jogindar Singh, extended a warm welcome to the guests and highlighted the glorious journey of KVS and its commitment to holistic and value-based education. The occasion was graced by the Chief Guest, Dr HarimonDeka, HOD, Department of Geography, Mangaldoi College, who emphasized the importance of education in shaping responsible citizens.
The Guest of Honour, Mr Prashant Kumar Mishra, Deputy Commandant, 37 BN SSB, motivated the students with his address on discipline, dedication, and service to the nation. The presence of Mr Sashanka Hazarika, National Teachers’ Awardee (2017), added special significance to the event with his inspiring interaction.
The celebration was further enriched by a vibrant cultural programme presented by the students, showcasing India’s rich cultural diversity and the ethos of KendriyaVidyalayaSangathan.
On the occasion, a major achievement of the school was announced. Ejaj Ahmed and his team were selected for the national level of the AI VidyaSetu Hackathon, bringing laurels to the Vidyalaya. The school community congratulated the team for their remarkable accomplishment.
The programme concluded on a proud note, reaffirming the values of unity, discipline, and excellence upheld by KendriyaVidyalayaSangathan.
